🎶 Joyfully they ring,
while people sing,
songs of good cheer,
Christmas is here. 🎄🎶

What a joyful way to end the year! Attended the Bicentennial Christmas Carol Service with representatives from the National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS) and members of the Inter-Religious Organisation.

It was a beautiful service. We started with lessons and carols like a traditional Christmas service, and the second half told the story of our Bicentennial, through carols, songs, and poetry. The processional was Once in Royal David’s City, and the finale was Majulah Singapura.

I hope that 50 and 100 years from now, new generations of worshippers will celebrate Christmas in St Andrew’s Cathedral and will once again have many reasons to give thanks for the bountiful blessings that they have received.
